[Maplestory - Reboot] 62k Bowmaster Black Mage Solo

Finally did the run officially. I cleared solo 6months ago during the Savior event buffs in practice mode but wasn't able to record the attempt that I didn't choke. Took a couple of months away from trying to carry some friends until they libbed but decided to get my achievement before the end of the year to showcase 6th job gains. I'll attempt this again if I ever pull a continuous ring since it would be incredible for damage uptime in this fight. My first death is kinda hilarious..

Hello, thats insane! sorry for the noob question but how do you switch rings with arrow blaster and guided arrow on and attacking boss?

In GMS, you can't. There are a few things that put us in combat to prevent ring swapping assuming burst is down. Turret, yellow magic arrows, and silhouette mirage. When I ring swap, I let turret expire and toggle to blood arrows and time the swap between mirage firing. You can also disable guided arrow instead if you prefer since that is what makes those things fire passively in the first place.

Ima bowmaster at 45m CP, lv270, whens a good time to solo bm?

@@haruka3203 I don't tend to like using cp as a metric cus it misses so much like 6th job progress. Id say you can start attempting solos around the 200b/s mark for a full rotation BA. Possibly sooner if you practice and are comfortable with a longer run

The anvil is a Timeless Engaw. You can craft one in the smithing UI!

isnt Conti a better ring for BM then ror?

The community is still doing testing for GMS. So far, it seems like yes, conti is better for a full rotation but ror+wj are better for burstier fights and party play. Unfortunately, I don't have a conti ring yet so I'm running what I have. Ror3 and wj4 for now
