The sound design of this game was so ahead of its time

You picked a good choice for hiding the face. In certain games your expression is more important. In these games, commentary alone supplies more than enough interaction since it's not a story heavy game and short.

the girl at the end is actually his sister, the game is about perseverance and bravery for the sake of family

Limbo is such a unique experience, I really want to see more from these devs because so far they have knocked it out of the park with everything they've done.

My day went something like this: "Oh nice, Mapo just uploaded a new playthrough for Little Nightmares 2!" "Wait, I should probably watch little Nightmares 1 first then, didn't even know he already played it." "Oh wow Mapo also played inside, I love that game! I gotta watch that!" "Ok, maybe Limbo just for continuity's sake." Looks like I got a weeks worth of entertainment cut out for me :D

Hey Mapo, coming from your dark souls playthroughs and I’m shocked this doesn’t have more views! It’s so refreshing to watch somebody so observant, logical and intelligent play through this classic without needing to run headfirst into every puzzle and die 20 times before figuring out the answer xD

Well, one of the main theories to explain this game is that after passing trough limbo (the place between life and the afterlife) he is finally put to rest by the girl (sister?) and his soul can finally rest.

Another is that they both died.

Just found out about your channel since I was hoping to watch some reactions of Silent Hill 2! And honestly you are so much enjoyable to watch🙏🏻 Please don’t stop producing your videos! Especially that you are into some awesome old horror games 😊 God bless.

-"Did we find a girlfriend?" -Luke Skywalker has entered the building. It's a fantastic game. It's honestly a tough call between this game and Inside. I think that Limbo's puzzle's are slightly better, slightly harder, but Inside provokes more questions about its setting. Both are great games worthy of completion.

Yes, a perfect watch for a lazy night before going to sleep! I really love how you take on all the classics - from Silent Hill, over Soma to Metal gear and now Limbo (and soon to come Inside). It's very interesting what a person who didn't play every game already ten times has to say about them, kind of like a fresh perspective, which I really enjoy. Watching you since you played SH2 for the first time and stuck since then, looking forward what is to come and I hope you keep on for a very long time! :D Since you seem to like (horror) Games with dense atmosphere: Did you ever come across Cry of fear or plan to look into it by any chance?

I’ve had quite a few mentions for Cry of Fear and I honestly had never heard of it before so I’ll be keen to check it out :)
@frossi19904 жыл бұрын
@@Mapocolops it's a survival horror Game from 2012, basically a free standalone half life mod. Sounds crappy but besides SH2 this game has the most mature take on psychological problems I have seen in a game. It's definitely worth a try, but be careful, it's a quite hard game. 😃

Cry of Fear is good but flawed in a number of ways. I would recommend it but you have to keep in mind that it does have problems.
@frossi19904 жыл бұрын
@@happyfaceman9113 I agree, it has quite a few bugs an unnerving gamebreaks, but in all honesty, I'm glad I waded through this valley of tears because the story is really worth the pain that comes along with a 22 year old engine. 😁 And a game/mod which is a product of 4 (!) people is bound to have "some" problems. But you are absolutely right giving this fair warning in advance because I can see that those aforementioned problems can cause many players to quit and miss the rewarding end where everything comes together.

Limbo is one of the few games I truly consider 10/10. I think it's actually perfect. I even made a short film inspired by Limbo back in the day but one of my teachers lost it.

Bit late but I think that that woman is his mother. Just think about it, maybe he died and was sent to pergatory, or Limbo, and unlike many other damned souls, he actually survived the horrors and persevered through and him breaking the glass is a metaphor for him earning a second chance at life. Also look at the woman's reaction when she hears and/or recognises him. She's stunned almost. Like she doesn't believe that her son would be back at the house
