Comment as a mapper and player at the same time First of all, I think Ln work kind of like a bridge not splitting the player with high physical from player with less physical as much, especially in the tournament scene. I do agree that the pp system is ass but who cares I just wanna SS stuff. And as a mapper I think Ln mapping and dump mapping is very fun to do because you get to experience with different kind of ideas and making them cohesive is a tough challenge to beat. Also the fact that there's more easy Ln map now is it just boring making generic stuff, at least when we are mapping tv size songs that we like we should get to be stylish a bit and play around with our ideas more, like making them Ln is the best way or else you would be getting 1/12 dump randomly which is even less ideal

i especially hate LNs as a wrist up player,having to relearn every pattern which i could normally hit with my wrist or shoulder movement,is instantly giving me a combo break on even the slightest LN patterns. like i actually do try to learn them,but it feels absolutely torturous and i feel no feedback on the release timing.

ppy is poor? like, they even limit the amount of favourite maps to 100, if saving some little value which indicates that you liked some map, imagine ranking every score from most maps; star rate update would be the best thing mania had in years and dans accurately shows your skill level, wtf, there's doubt about this?
