No joke, Missourians are notorious about saying every "exotic" name wrong. Hahahaha

This is such a great idea - the boarders here in the UK have moved so much over the years, this has given me a lot of new clues thanks!

Yes, someday. I have nearly finished gathering all documents on my great great great gma into a timeline. Then will use your tutorial to map her out. Thanks!

I don't know if you will see this given when your video posted but how do you superimpose anything on google maps? Do you have a video demonstrating that? Helpful video, great idea. Thanks so much

Hello! What do you mean by superimpose? Are you referring to the gray areas I added to show the townships/properties? If so - I use Google My Maps (not Google Maps) - you can create Google My Maps the same way you create Google Docs or Google Sheets in your Google drive, if you have a Google account.

Just found your channel: do you attach this map to your gma's page in Ancestry? Also, I've found formation information on a county's Wiki page. I've had a problem with some of my Arkansas relatives in Lafayette/Columbia Counties: their section moves back and forth between the two. Not sure what that's about but it is interesting. Also, a cemetery in Cerrogordo, OK, is now in Arkansas--that's thanks to satellite gps. My rental car's gps couldn't locate it, when I drove up, I found myself crossing the state line which had been relocated since my last visit, several years ago.

I haven't attached it to her in Ancestry - that's a great idea! Thanks! It can get confusing when county lines and sections change, its a wonder you were able to find the cemetery even though it had crossed state lines!

Hi an interesting video. Check Wiki info. There were two Iron Townships in Missouri.
