Excellent! Thanks so much for this. Out of interest, do you have any videos or other guidance on adding information boards? For example, I recently came across an already-mapped board with these tags: (board_type=history, information=board, tourism=information) and I took a photo of it. Am I allowed to take a photo of it and put it on Wikimedia Commons or does copyright apply (or is there a better option than Wikimedia for this purpose). And if that's all ok, what's the best way to tag it so it links to it correctly? Thanks for your work on this channel!

I don't see why copyright would be an issue, depending on where you live, it should fall under "freedom of panorama". If the information panel itself says something about copyright and sharing restrictions (I have never seen that), you have to respect those, of course. If for some reason, you don't want to use Wikimedia, you can use Flickr or any other platform where you don't have to log in to see content (like Facebook) and use the "image" key with the image url as the value. There is also an option to add image:license to the node. And I don't seem to have done any other videos on that topic, but I should, I suppose. Using SC is a bit awkward.

@@OSM4HistoryBuffs Thanks so much for the quick reply. That's reassuring. While I assumed they wouldn't mind, I didn't know about Freedom of Panorama. Thanks again for the advice. Your youtube channel really is a top resource and underrated. I've learned a lot from your videos. I've enjoyed contributing a little to OSMIRL after watching your videos on that subject, and will do so again as soon as I have the time. Thanks. Dave (IpswichEdits) (I should add that I'm using JOSM most of the time. When out and about I tend to use EveryDoor more frequently than SC)

@@davebulow2 Thanks you so much for your feedback; it is very reassuring and shows me a bit of where people are who watch them. I don't use SC as much as I used to; I'm really warming up to EveryDoor instead, but still also use OSMAnd. And for desktop mapping, I tend to use JOSM more than iD, but iD is more accessible for beginners.
