if you knock yourself forwards via a door which would normally cause you to collide with an item, the game will keep it there! im not sure exactly why, but i would guess it's because of how the players hitbox in mappy works

I thought the goro coin chases after mappy. It's not really doing that here

if you are on the fifth floor or above on the arcade version, the coin will not attempt to go to those floors and will instead stay at the bottom
