What I love about his Grace, is his humbleness, his proud of his origin as an Assyrian and proude of being one. After all as his Grace said we are from one mother and father and same blood. why not there is so much to be proud of our Assyrian origin as we have given so much to the world and the great power we had as we governed so many countries for years. God bless Assyria.. I am proud to be one.

God Rest his soul, Partriarch Mar Raphael Bidawed, was an intelligent man, I remember him as a young kid, he was stationed in Lebanon in the 60's and 70's. He had words of wisdom and really helped where he could. REST IN PEACE.

God bless him for realising the fact and preaching it. We need people like him today, especially in our churches because our nation is braided with our church...

As this video documents, He bravely speaks of Assyrian as one Omtha (nation), divided into many Ethas; the position held by the overwhelming majority of Assyrians. This is ferociously opposed by a very small, but strategically positioned, clergy at the highest levels of the Assyrians Roman Catholic Church. I cannot help but ask the question, have the Papayah turned violent to protect their untenable position within their upper circle, that the Assyrians of Roman church are not Assyrians?

I attend service at Assyrian churches of any Etha (denomination), considering the church as the house of GOD, build in the memory of his first son, Jesus. This is a part of my personal attempt to bring our divided nation together. As an Ashuria I have always been annoyed by our tendency to create conspiracy theories around all the tragedies that befall our nation. However, the evidence of foul play is overwhelming in the case of Mar Rafael Bit David brutal murder.

Is it true that his funeral service was done by Assyrian Church of the East leaders as opposed to the Chaldean Catholic Church leaders? I want to know if that is just a rumour or if it is the truth.
