I had tons of pics of my time in (77 - 81), I was sending them home for my Mom to make an album with. These included my MOS training(1833) at Camp Del Mar in Pendleton, deployments, pics of the fire at Camp Fuji in Japan, pics from atop Mt Fuji, my Japanese GF Norico Kono from Tokyo. Pics driving the Japanese type 74 MBT and our M 60A1, various shoots. Guarding our front gate by a show of force in our tracs, when the communists wanted to storm our base on Okinawa, etc, etc. All those were destroyed in a fire that my sisters kids started in my families bedroom. All I have now are a few shots of graduation and first leave from boot camp.

SAiorry to hear that. I came back from a cruise and went to the supply building where we stored all our personal things and found out that the area was involved in a theft and I lost a lot fo expensive personal stuff, especilly an imported tape recorder that i got from a previous Med Cruise.
