I remember the old paper ballots for the All Star Game voting. Now everything is done online.

That catch by Yastrzemski was unreal, especially for a 38 year old an off the Green monster. Great year for baseball. Welcome Mariners & Bluejays!!

7:55 Eeech good thing next year at the #MetropolitanStadium they shored up the left field booby traps, and it looks like the roll of sand at the base kept fielders feet in play #ouch. Fun fact, as an homage to the #Met attempt to add more seats, #Mikkelson field Fargo ND would add a whole outfield fan section main legion field ca. 82 where fans could watch thru fence which appears could not be added in time before the move to the Dome❤. Mikkelson also could be under 8ft of water in April and good as new come May #FargoParks

7:18 for people of a certain age..no, that’s not the guy who drove OJ in the white bronco…when I first heard the name during the chase I, myself, thought of Al Cowlens, the baseball player …not Al Cowlings, the football player…I didnt even know there was a football player by that name, until after the OJ case unfolded

MLB are the worst self marketers ever., not only stingy with the classic stuff in the archives but have essentially made it a pay per view sport. 😞

Funny you should say that. You see, they said the same thing about these players in the 70's especially when this was the dawn of free agency.
@stephenvargo60767 жыл бұрын
DAngelo 136 that's a very fair point. However, I would have to agree with the comment above. Today's game is so much less majestic and the players are much less passionate about playing the game. And it shows on the field.

....nostalgic reflection can be soooooooo deceptive for sure.....we tend to amplify the good things in our past and sprinkle it with a little self-delusion....not saying that is bad as it helps to cushion the blow of getting older......
