My son loved pre school! It actually helped him soooooooooo much and I saw that he was really into it after a week. I did part time too. Before he would cry a lot at home and I had a hard time doing things with him by myself. He thrived really well and learned to eat well , nap and make alot of friends ! He will do well and so will you! ❤️❤

Yes thankfully he’s adjusted now and is doing great!! :) I knew it was going to take some time but he is loving it!!

Oh Marah. My heart breaks for Maalik. His crying when you guys picked him up broke my heart. My son is 2.5 years and I'm always debating whether to send him to daycare or not. But they're too small. The best care is with the mother. It's totally your choice but being a qualified teacher and having worked in many daycares/ early years settings, I honestly wouldn't recommend. It's totally upto you though. Give him lots of love ❤

I miss my kids being little but I do not miss the days of constantly running a diligent routine when it came to daycare and my full time demanding job. I was always exhausted and the mothers guilt was relentless. I’m not going to sugarcoat it- It can be bad for a while, take it day by day and then one day you realize it got better

I think that will be good for his continued development (physical, social, emotional, & cognitive) despite it not being easy at first. :) BTW, I like seeing the nutritious meals you feed your son! Slmz, I'm a mom of 3 boys n my firstborn went to pre-school when he was 4 years old. He cried on the first day n as the days went by he adjusted and blended in with the other kids. In Shaa Allah, Malik will eventually get used to it. Since he is much smaller it's gonna take time for him to adjust. May Allah make it easy for him, ameen.

Again i dont say this as a hateful comment. Because a child stops crying doesnt mean he is okay. What else can he do? He is vulnerable and at the mercy of adult caregivers. He cannot cry continuously. so as a child just gives up. Doesnt mean its good for him. By the time he graduates at 22 yrs iA he he wud hav have spent more than 20 yrs of his life at school. Again i dont mean to offend but i just wonder about this" crying out: method and hope insh it does no long term psych ological damage to dear little Malik. I say this as someone who has worked with children as a teacher and social worker. Cannot cry continuously

Malik’s lunch is my biggest fear as a mom because of my daughter’s allergies! Please try and find something other than peanut butter in case other kids at pre school are allergic. In Canada our schools and daycares are nut-free zones because of how common nut allergies are ☹️

Why are people so quick to spew shameful words to someone who they don’t know truly? Theres a better way of giving advice that doesn’t involve shaming someone. Our mental healths fluctuate daily and if what you say to someone who is not feeling so great affects them negatively, the impact of that is damaging. Would you blatantly shame her if she was in front of you? Could you bring your tongue to say those words if she were standing beside you? Allah knows best and Allah is the only one who can judge. If you want to guide, try to find a different way of wording your statements so they don’t come off so shameful and rude.

Marah, he is still too young, haram. I'm 63 years old and have raised 5 wonderful kids. I've always worked full time, but never put my kids in daycare. They all started school when they were four and could discuss their feelings and thoughts with me. I have heard some horror stories, so unless you HAVE to, please do not leave him in daycare until he's ready. May Allah swt bless you all. Such a beautiful family mashaAllah.
