Went to court. Came to daddy house where pastor blessed us. Did traditional wedding with a budget of 250 guest. Today is my 15th wedding anniversary. God blessed my marriage. What I am learning lately is "to each his/her own" Just know yourself, acknowledge your desires, and do it with your full chest. Additionally, it is "wisdom" to do your wedding according to your preference and bank account. The basics remain consistent: the parents' consent according to their customs - traditional ceremony; the government attests - court/legal ceremony; blessings by God through his vessel - church ceremony. However this plays out, your discretion!

Agree with Maraji 💯 if Veekee wants to even celebrate her wedding for a year nobody should be annoyed. It's her wedding, it's her money, and honestly after her wedding she'll have more clients because she's also advertising her brand. A young lady who is happy at what she does and also makes good money from it, she is married and successful. Honestly at this point it's just jealousy and misplaced priorities from people complaining. We have no idea how her husband (Femi) treats her. What if he is a very loving and good person to her. Everyone keeps saying Veekee James paid the choir so asking them to kneel is not out of place but that is so wrong. If she was led by the spirit to roll on the floor in worship, would she have asked the choir to do same?? She paid for a service- for them to sing and they did just that. She didn't buy their existence for that period so asking them to kneel was both condescending and performative. Liking that scene to church is also wrong because the congregation can choose to not engage the minister/pastor- It's by choice.
