To contribute to the other expression of "Altering Clothes", I would use the following expressions as an alternative although there is nothing wrong with these expressions. ------------------------------------------------------------- When it is '____' I would prefer to express in this way: #1 Too small - Tight or Close-fitted #2 Too big - Loose or Baggy So when I want to express the specific activities of "Altering the Clothes", I would say '______' if the cloth is '______': #1 I'll make it to be '"let down" -Too short. #2 I'll make it to be '"let out" -Too tight. #3 I'll make it to be '"taken up" -Too long. #4 I'll make it to be '" taken in" -Too loose.
