Does the binbok quest 2 batteries swap onto the binbok quest 3 headset and vice versa

@@rotation2003 yes, the batteries are exactly the same, so if you already have one of these head straps for a Quest 2 and then guy one for Quest 3 you will then have 4 batteries you can use with either head strap.

I have this Binbok strap for the Quest 3 and it does have the problem with the gear closing. It’s not really a problem for me and I still think it’s a good option.

So it would seem the problem lies with their quality control... that's not encouraging, but despite the imperfection in the way the adjustment wheel works, overall I still think it's a great head strap. The added play time from the batteries is just epic.

I just picked up a Quest 3 yesterday. WOW! I am blown away with how much better it is than the Q2. And of course Meta doesn't bother including a good head strap (just good enough I suppose), but the cost on this one is more than I can handle after the wallet shock of the Q3 itself. And that's after saving $80 on it.

@@leancake Ya, and it's way too blurry in comparison. Giving only 3 ipd positions was very short-sighted as well. I could never get the sweet spot set.

Does plugging the usb into the battery pack charge the battery AND the headset or do you have to unplug the head strap to charge the headset?

That is Red Matter 2. On another note; if you're using the 3s, Binbok VR recently updated this head strap for the Quest 3 and 3s, fixing the few main complaints everyone has had about it. Hi, great review got one on it’s way - can you advise does it matter what charge state the quest 3 battery is in when the binbok is connected -ie will the q3 battery life be reduced ?

I usually play with my headset at 100% charge and the battery pack keeps the headset at 100% until the battery pack is fully depleted.

The thing that really bothers me about the quest 3 is The controller battery life is horrendous like maybe 2 days of battery life when the quest 2 controllers would go for a month if not more on one AA

Have you tried tightening the top strap so it lifts the rear brace up where it cups the back of your head?

I think the batteries seem to take way longer to charge than they last Also I don’t even think it’s that good of a headstrap I think I might get a new one
