Yes, wonderful reporting Komilla! Most people here are just followers of astro, with some basic understanding. They wudn't understand the complexity of the subject astro. Ur always very good with teaching to that audience. Not only the best of astrologers too hv their own karmic debt, but also enlightened masters hv to go thru' their karmic debt, which is subjected to the mind and body, but not to the spirit/awareness, which they identify themselves with! Astro is a wonderful guide, which is like a set of cards dealt in rummy. U get the some pluses and minuses, and u've to play the game with that set. Life is just like that with our astro cards, based on our natal chart.

My Lagna lord and atmakaraka venus is in mks along with badhakesh sun. Stress due to father, terrible health and zero interest in love and conventional relationships. Felt like I was always in an alien culture. I was literally done with life till I found the light of my life - my guru - a Tibetan Buddhist lama.

A lot of people I know have this. I have Sun in 12th. My son has Rahu in 9th. What I have observed is that a lot of people who are struggling in life has Saturn in 1st house.

How does this change in retrograde planets? What about a planet being malefic or benefic to a chart, being retro and marn sthan? So many alterations can change whole scenario...

If planet is functional benefic for the ascendant but is placed in mks, can one wear it's gemstone? eg for gemini ascendants mercury is lagna lord and if it is seated in 7th house, can native wear emerald?

Im all good in d1 chart, but in d9 I have jupiter in sag 3rd house, mars in aries 7th house, and moon in taurus 8th house. Can I PLEASE get an explanation and will I get good results due to planets being in multrakona signs

Very enlightening..I have mercury conjunct ketu in 4th house Aquarius running Mercury MD from 2017 onwards. Relationship with mother is distant .but I feel the 10th house effect of Rahu in Leo much more..obsession with status and image..happiness is a issue..Jupiter in 3rd in Navamsa relationship with Children also doesn't make me happy..will this be the trend through out Mercury MD?

Hello, my and my immediate family's rasi/natal charts are 'clear' of these MKS planetary positions. However, in our Navamsha charts, there are a few such placements. Do MKS positions apply to Navamsha/adult life charts? --- oh, I just realised you answered this in your references to varga charts at 17mins in the video - Thank you!

Thankfully, none of my planets in lagna D1 chart are in marana karaka sthana. Although in moon chart, there is Venus(conjunct to Mercury) in 6th house (Pisces) and Mars(conjunct to Saturn, Jupiter, Sun[far away]) in 7th house(Aries).

I have Saturn first house with Moon (which is bad combo for depression, mood swings),,,but if Saturn is a "dead planet"would it give my Moon more power and erase the combo side effects of (Saturn-Moon combo)? is that "better" or worse? Also can Marana Karaka apply to the D9 chart?...ex; I have Rahu in the 9th of D9..I'm guessing that would mean people give me bad love advice..

Hi Komilla. Thank you for this great video. I hadn't found much information on MKS before. When you talk about malific aspects, you mean dhrishtis only or also the conjunction? e.g. Jupiter conjunct saturn in 3rd.

I have a question , 3rd and 6th houses are upachaya ( houses which are being worked out with time ) , does it mean that Jupiter in 3rd and Venus in 6th will work better with time or is it upachaya only according to houses themselves and it means that the houses’ karakas will be improved only if work on it, but not the planets which sit in the houses?

I have Jupiter in 3rd house in pieces. Jupiter's my Vargottama and Atmakaraka too. I always thought my jupiter was being strong, which I thought want a bad thing at all. Now I'm a bit worried after hearing this :/

1) If Saturn is in Lagna, ie., MKS, it loses power. Saturn loses power is good, right? Why do we expect Saturn to be powerful, any reason? 2) For Aries lagna, if Saturn is in lagna, it is MKS + debilitated, it loses complete power; so the person may be living very luxuriously as he will not do any work (karma). Kindly clarify. 3) Also, one more dimension, Aries Lagna, Saturn in Lagna (MKS), so debilitated; if this Saturn is in Vakra, what happens?

Sarbari Sarkar Nothing good or very bad . I have the position , Ketu always keeps me at home. I am not frustrated about, opposite, I love it, but the position of Ketu usually does not give lots of friends as you are at home constantly and no time for friends . Something like this.... Opposite sits Rahu in 10th, and some astrologers say that the person will be careerist - not about me, all I wanted to begin or to become - failed. Actually , I have Sun and Moon in 4th with Ketu, when I had Sun and Moon periods I felt quite lonely in childhood, my parents were always busy at work and no warmth from them, very little friends. When I had Mars period ( it is in 6th) I had lots of friends, work, money, connections in my country etc. Now I have Rahu period and it switched on my Su, Mo and Ketu again in opposite house- all Rahu period I must live abroad with no relatives and again I have here little of friends ... 5 years of Rahu left ... Next one is Jupiter and it is in 3rd 😬

So they do give effect .. moon in scorpio gives you very sensitive mind .. and hence it should be guarded against strong emotional turbulence and meditation helps
