Don't know about the Yamaha Ns-B 951 Soavo but i had the Rega Elex-R and it sounded great with my Ryan R610! And yes, Patricia Barber's recordings sound marvelous! I just changed my Elex-R with an Hypex Nilai 500 Stereo DIY amp and the Hypex Preamp DIY, it sounds incredible. My Source is Topping D70 Pro DAC.
