Definetly an improvement, I can see people getting this version over the original just for the quality of life improvements over the design, and if possible, ditch the backpack for one of better liking if needed. Good review, glad you liked the gimmick too.

Since Banagher is a newtype, it doesn't really need the wires. Same goes with the regular Silver Bullet

Fantastic review as always Charlie! I am gonna grab this one as well as the regular silver bullet since I like their design. As for gundam unicorn and banshee, I recommend the RGs. The HGs are not so good in my experience.

Yes, the ammo pack/s for the Beam Magnum is meant to be a dark blue but the HG, likely due to its size, has the entire rifle molded in solid grey. Similar to how most Zaku 2 kits have a grey Heat Hawk instead of a purple one.

I don’t understand why beam magnum would have recoil, it’s firing a beam of high energy ionized particles, not dense metallic projectiles propelled by explosives. Also Katoki likes high heels and long legs, that’s why I prefer origin MS (more balanced proportions).

I think in Unicorn it was just supposed to be a nice detail that it wasn't designed for use with other MS but now with Narrative having a big MS like Silver Bullet needing some stupidly over designed arm replacement system it's being treated as this stupid "black box" technology along with the Neo Zeong, Unicorn and psychoframe

well, the heavy beam particles are compressed to form the beam it self and projected via energy fusion detonation. Unlike, the Gundam’s Beam Rifle, this one is a Magnum and can be able to shoot 6 times before changing magazines, unlike the Rifle which can shoot 16 times. For the recoil, i think the impact of the detonation and the power output exhausted within the weapon is stronger in order to give the heavy beam particles more punch

The beam magnum magazine should be in a different color. The HG unicorns don't have said color separation, obviously, but the disappointing thing is that the RG unicorns don't have it either.

You need to give the Doven Wolves a try, they’re way cooler than the Silver Bullets 😎. I’m the opposite of you, i have both Doven Wolves but no Silver Bullets. That’s kind of a let down that only one of those extra arms have full articulation abilities. I’m definitely getting one of those though

Way too much leftover plastic and not giving you beam saber effect parts to stay animé accurate is seriously cheap. I hate to think that the successor to the Doven wolf and silver bullet has so little offensive and defensive options. And seriously the moment he releases the used arm and attaches the new one. The beam magnum is still in the old arm floating about.

the arm losing is a bit shaming , but in case of Beam Saber , it's not included in both anime and kit , due to it being made as a sniping/ silent operations Mobile Suit ,and those leftover parts may be for a customization
