My family grew up with Mac computers so aside from Sim City 2000 and DOOM 3, I never got to play a lot of classic PC games growing up. But I did play Marathon 1 & 2. It was one of the earlier versions of the Aleph One project where the first level opens up with the ending from Pathways into Darkness and that infamous staircase switch puzzle in "Colony Ship For Sale, Cheap" was toned down and you didn't need to manually adjust the height of each individual step. Good memories. Glad to see the A1 project is still active and that you can now play Marathon on Steam (which is what I'm currently doing).

How was this to get running on modern hardware? Edit: nevermind! I’m excited to dig into this probably after the Dark Forces Remaster.
