That was the most heart felt episode. That is the reason I'm building a custom coach on a prevost chassis. Hope when I'm out there I will run across them. What wonderful people. I can't join the group but I will surely hope I enjoy it and much as they do. Keep on Rollin

Following them for the five months out of the year that they're on the road and making it into a series would be fantastic. That would give me a ton of more information about the whole lifestyle. Information that I desperately want to know

Nowadays so many factories try to find the better way to sell their products around the world some of the lie or cheat because they think they should just sell and sell without any respect for costumer but in my opinion who can understand , listen the costumer exactly what they really need what they wish to have , is the winner . I haven't been in your country but i am really proud of your guys . Thanks for doing your amazing job .

If you only had one video to show people. This is it! I've watched many videos on KZbin about people on the road and most have problems getting service for their class A motorhomes. Having drivin motor coaches for several years over the road for the entertinment industry, I know how it feels when something breaks down and you feel helpless. It doesn't matter how much money you have. Stuff still happens and you feel helpless but it looks like Marathon has you covred.

Thanks for sharing your experience! 1) Why did you need so much battery power? I don't imagine you're boondocking, but are there times when you're off the grid, don't want to use the generator, and so need to run off the batteries for a time? 2) Like you're son I'm also 6 ft. 9 in. tall; is the bed long enough for him? 3) Finally, I'm getting older and find myself wondering how much longer I'll be able to drive my big rig; does the high quality ride of a Marathon X3 make it easier to drive when you're an older driver?

Hi John. We love boondocking! And we do it in our coach quite a lot. But we don’t care for generator noise. We run the air conditioners! And, the heaters! This electrical power allows comfort even when generator hours are restricted. Or when we stop along the road to take a nap. The coach stays cool (or warm). Lithium lasts lots longer than the AGM batteries. Like approximately the coach lifetime. They charge really fast. We put in an additional charger so we charge at 9kW rate. The rate stays high up to 95% full charge. So generator run times are short. With the instrumentation we know exactly what our battery state is. Second question: Yes the bed is long enough for Fletcher. Third question: We are also older. Driving the Marathon is one of life’s great pleasures. We handle it just fine. We also go in winter. Deep winter, with chains. The coach has a Stability and Control plus Traction control system that makes the Marathon imitate a 4WD vehicle for where it can go.

Thanks Gary; that's extremely helpful! A Marathon X3 that I can sleep in and stand up straight in, and use off-grid, and drive comfortably and safely in may be in my near future. It's also very interesting that you are willing to drive such a sophisticated rig in the winter snow; we've always been worried about getting snow and sand and salt on the undercarriage of our big rig. Again, thanks for your help. Keep safe and healthy!

Everyone wants to go where it is hot. But to go to the hot winter areas, you have to travel through the cold winter areas! Prevost makes that easy with their traction control and stability and control systems. Marathon will equip the coach with bay heaters, battery heaters, heated floors, easy fenders to put on chains (hardly ever required, but when they are needed there is no work around.)

Marathon if you want to double your sales please interview more owners and active members and bring us more real life experiences. I've been saying this for a few years and judging from the comments that I've seen below it seems like many people watching feel the same way

@jamestorrence93405 жыл бұрын
Marathon has converted at least one 5th wheel trailer in the past. They did it for a family who owned several Marathon coaches, but decided they were not big enough for parties. I think they will work on anything you bring in.
