I'd wait until the cheaters get bored and hopefully dealt with. Evading EAC is as easy as simply launching the game from its binary folder. Bam, no EAC and on top of that the game is very client based. It's a joke. It's bad enough in general but I cannot imagine how atrocious oceania servers are. Just look up "marauders cheating" on youtube and behold the hordes of Chinese not even hiding it.

A fun thing to do in this game before you Prestige and lose all your shit anyway is to get the baddest ship you can make, load it with the best weapons, and cram all your valuables into the cargo hold and dare people to take it from you. For me, these valuables were cookies and meth. Those must have been some confused and happy gamers that finally took me down.

first thing I did was try to discuss the lore with the developers and realized nothing makes sense, its ww1 but "alternate" so its nearly entirely fictionalized. Edit: to clarify a bit, the factions are all scrambled, United Allies being French and the US are fighting the Kingdom Alliance being Britain, the Central Empire is Germany and Italy? But all the flags have weird Norse symbols thrown in there for no reason. Not sure why they wouldn't just make their own universe rather than disfiguring ww1 beyond recognition, other than just wanting to explain the old equipment being used.
