Something I was not aware of when filming is that the figure CAN come apart at the waist, which makes putting the belts on waaaay easier! So keep that in mind if you pick any MTF figure up! :)

I see these are the same scale (1/18) as the Joy toy series of WW2 figures however are they compatible in size? I have learned that sometimes in the past plastic figures can be advertised by different manufacturers as being the same scale yet they don't always line up as the same size when placed together? However I suspect that these would be OK against the Joy toy WW2 Germans?

Great review. I have the Germans and really the only drawback are the accessories don't stay on.

How bad are they at falling out

Would small pieces of blue tack hold the accessories on?

Well I looked up WW1 action figures, but this would work for ww1 I guess lol

You could definitely pass them off as WWI, or even modify them slightly like adding the ankle wraps. Sadly no one makes official WWI figures in 1/18
