This is so touching and so true to our daily struggles as a nation and a population. What i have come to learn that more often than not people tend to treat us on the basis of where we come from and intellectually we are always seen as inferior to others. A disease existing amongst us as a black and colored population is the desire to not see or help our brothers and sisters to go forward and succeed in life, we tend to almost do everything in our power to prevent our own from reaching the highest of heights, i understand sometime we are held at ransom by the powers that's be to make sure that others are shut up and kept quiet and we fall for that trick, But what we do not know when we are holding or own back we are doing a massive injustice to our communities and our youth, because the path which we are preventing a Portia Modise to pave and or craft is the ONLY path which will be laid for our kids and community. Most of the time you would find that us as coloreds and blacks are EXPERTS in self sabotage.

SAFA exploited her and I'm glad she's talking, these older players r starting to talk, if male soccer players were so underpaid, I can't imagine what they dd to female soccer players!!!! Imagine someone struggling to buy toiletries!!!! She was dropped because she just wanted what's due to her, Makalakalane was exploited af during his career so he dd the same to Portia and others!!!!! Black man are their own worst enemy!!!!!!

I always say that football is nothing but a hobby for females. And the worst thing is those who are supposed to bring about changes in the game don't even give a damn about the situation. Being a female footballer myself, I know too many players who had to choose between income and the "hobby" that is football. Players with unbelievable talents! All of my friends who are current players of Banyana have nothing to show for. I'm talking people who went to the world cup! Yet people are earning huge salaries and calling themselves football administrators!
