My Granddaughter came to spend a weekend with me and I took her to Round 1 here in Illinois. We played Marble Carnival and I'm hooked. I have been back twice while she is back in Michigan. I'm almost 60 years old and I'm hooked on a marble game. Lol!!!

I love it when I'm at the arcade and they are installing/uninstalling games. It's like a "behind-the-scenes" look at the arcade. Watching them move the games reminds me of when I went to see tapings of The Price Is Right (the crew push those games around with ease!). So glad you are back! Good luck with getting some jackpots!

Marble Carnival is my favorite game at Round1. I love that I can put $50 on my card and make it last for a good hour or two, PLUS get a decent amount of tickets as well! Round1 is so expensive, so it's nice to have a game that doesn't eat up all my credits quickly. lol

I’ve done contract work for Konami and without going into it, I can assure you the bonus is on a payout and it can be set by the arcade depending on jurisdiction (for example: in the UK it’, like all claw machines, coin pusher, etc. are considered a slot machine and that payout generator is something like you see in a typical slot).

In Washington the Governor recently ordered that all arcades have to remain closed until phase 4, which is the "Return to normal" phase. One arcade operator I know expects that he'll be shut down at least through the end of 2020.

thesledgehammerblog we (NY) are already on phase 4 which was when our arcades were supposed to be opened, but then Cuomo went back on his word. Pennsylvania has taken control and the governor has limited power now.

I wonder if they're able to afford these machines by taking out loans and buying machines at auction from gaming stores that went under during this virus thing? Are the new machines brand new or do they appear slightly used? Or refurbished

Peg Tooth I know round 1 as a whole has been getting these machines across the country. So I don’t think it’s a store by store case. But these machines looked brand new! They probably have contracts with the game manufacturers ... that would be my guess.
