At first I couldn't believe there is a marble racing KZbin channel. Then I remembered a friend of my parents, back in 70's, had an awesome steel marble machine and I loved it. Something about the unpredictable paths and the actions of multiple marbles going everywhere. You have brought this to a new level, the creativity is amazing, not to mention how beautiful glass marbles are. Well done.

Redemption, Pirates! I believe! Edit: Not too bad I guess. Once again, from podium to bottom. Though he definitely got back up. We can see that on lap 11, he lost 3 spots going up the booster, and on lap 12, went into the chicane and completely lost speed for a few seconds before moving again, putting him right at the bottom. Much better show than the first race, and still coming off of last.

a "drag reduction zone" would reduce drag, which would make marbles go faster. Perhaps this is the wrong term.

It is a term from real F1. Technically if you “take the drag reduction zone” it would be taking the faster side, but how the signage is placed it seems like it would be the other way.

marble fubeca is taking lots of cues from formula one racing for this series. You are right that a drag reduction zone serves to help increase speed (In F1 the cars have a flap on the back wing that opens to literally decrease aerodynamic drag during zones in some straights). You can't really change the aerodynamics of a marble though, so the little rumble strip acts to increase rolling resistance and decrease speed, making it look like the normal side of the track has "reduced drag". It's a fun idea but you have to suspend reality a bit to use the term "drag reduction" in a marble race

Having that drag zone right before corner one, hitting the marbles when their speed is highest, is brutally effective. I love how much that mixed things up, including how much it slowed the top two starters back right at the start.

Then you have to explain to me what happened between the minute 6:38 and the minute 6:53, or BLACK PIRATES goes from 3rd to 6th exactly at the moment that is NOT FRAMED and without ANY APPARENT REASON given the advantage it had ... to then close sadly 7th. It's not good, it's not good at all...(Even the last race BP had risen up to 3rd position and then returned miserably penultimate)
