Very few have. There was basically one machine that would show up at conventions once in a while but it became playable on the interwebs last night. Anomie.

@@damnedgonzalez3729 Yeah, Atari was notorious for making arcade games and then cancelling them after they didn't test well (check out the Danger Express playthrough I did if you want to see some cheesy fun like Pit Fighter). Keep in mind this is 1991 so games like Street Fighter II, The Simpsons and Terminator 2 are popping up and games like NARC and Smash TV were already out. The reason it hasn't been emulated to this point is a whole story of it's own.

I believe this version is a slightly newer build than the Marble Man version.

It's actually just the dual joystick without the trackball.

No. Apparently some earlier builds used it but they ended up dropping it for some reason. Hopefully someone can hack it to allow support for it. That's really my only issue with it as a fan of the original.

It will just be part of the normal MAME ROM distribution. If you want to play before MAME 0.245, you need to compile your own MAME or use a nightly build done after today.

@@lesliegibson5964 If you get the ROM you should be able to play it on any Genesis emulator. I like Kega Fusion.
