​​@@gizcat1413By my math, the score to be safe is 18. 21 is the best the Purple Rockets can do, but if they win both of the last races that leaves fewer points available for the three teams that all currently have six or seven points. Here is the scenario I can come up with which allows for the highest possible last-place score among the four current bottom teams. -PRO: current score 3, get a first and a third in the last two races; final score 17 -CHO: current score 6, get a first and a fourth; final score 18 -MYL: current score 6, get a second and a third; final score 18 -BMB: current score 7, get a second and a fourth, final score 17 So if I am correct, all the Oceanics and Team Primary have to do to be safe is avoid two DNFs in the last two races. Even with a DNF and a last place finish (plus a perfect set of reults for the other racers), they probably get though on tiebreakers.

@@tarzangief Yes the last place Purple Rockets can win twice and get to 21. But if they win both remaining races then the best the Chocolatiers can do is get to 20 by coming in second twice. But if that happens, then the best Mellow Yellow can do is get third twice and score 16. But if that happens, then the best the Bumblebees can do is get fourth twice and score 13... All that matters is not being last. So to find the safe score, you have to figure out what the highest possible last place score is. That is not always calculated by simply assuming the team in last wins all the remaining races and then using their final score. This method might work if there is one team which is in last by a wide margin, but it probably doesn't if there is a bunch of teams all within a few points of last like there is now. Given the current standings, there is no way for the eventual last place team (not necessarily the Purple Rockets) to score above 17, so 18 is the safe score.

Talk about consistency and strong finishes, that's something we keep "Seaing" from the Oceanics. Sea has been extremely consistent and even though Team Primary made a great move and took the high line, Sea rode the wave to victory. M-Tron 2000 is back with its next to final prediction in this series! Here is its latest elimination odds... Purple Rockets: 48% Mellow Yellow: 20% Chocolatiers: 19% Bumblebees: 12%

M-Tron 2000 simulates the remaining races in the week 1 million times to count how many times each team is eliminated. Race ending order is random, though cumulative points are taken into account. For each race, a team gets one ticket for each point they have earned in all previous races. All tickets are put in a hat, and one ticket is drawn for first place. That team is assigned first and the rest of their tickets removed. Repeat for second, etc. There is a 50% chance that last place will DNF. If that happens, there is a 50% chance that second to last place will DNF, and so on. The percentages describe the percent of simulations the team ended up eliminated. Probabilities below 0.1% are not shown.

@@project9017 Yes it can, but it is boring. It gives roughly the same odds to each marble, but slightly favors those with more total points. Right now all remaining marbles have between 1000 and 1100 points, so it's not a big spread.

I was most impressed with Aryp, taking that brutal hit backwards and then shaking it off quickly and streaking right back into the race. That could have easily derailed them. Like I said just impressed.

Spoiler Aryp and Sea have essentially punched their tickets to the finale. I was only able to work out one way (two technically) in which they were eliminated. Two third-place finishes for Swax, two second-place finishes for Saucer and Yellah and Bonbon finish 1st and 4th. This coupled with 2 DNFs. Quite fascinating that it worked out like this. I'm curious though, if this did happen and both marbles finished on 16 points, which one would get eliminated?
