The GraviTrax Interactive Track System is now available in the USA! This Starter Set was a 2019 Finalist for the Toy Of The Year (Construction category). Thanks to Ravensburger for providing this for a #marblegrooves review! No financial compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
It is exactly the type of product that I like =)
It is not one of those products where you can only make one type of track. If you like building bricks, not only is the build enjoyable but it is functional as well! If you know me from Track Time by Race Grooves, you know what I'm talking about =)

Great review. I just got this set for my 7rd old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. We started watching marble racing videos on KZbin when the pandemic cancelled all sport and she was still talking about it coming up to xmas, so we got her a set. We've had the same issue with the magnetic accelerator shooting marbles off the first corner, even with a hill climb before it. I ended up using blu-tac and one of the little hexes popped out of the base board to created a bumper/railing on the first bend... works pretty good, but every 5 or 6 runs you have to nudge it back in place. I won't lie.... I know Christmas is over but I'm pretty tempted to go back to the store and pick up some of the novelty pieces as well, lol. Maybe one of those loops to slow down the mag-cannon, and/or some of the tunnel pieces

To get it to slow down just put some of those pieces under it so that the marble has to gain elevation before hitting the curve.

I rmember getting the starter set at january 2018. Before that i got hammer, a hammer and expansion building. In 2018 christmas i expanded mine with expansion tunnel.

Awesome set, tbh. I never got build kit anything growing up. Now that I have a son, and ended up working in trades at the end of my 20s, I'm excited about getting my 4 y/o in to all these kind of things. :) Can't wait for him to be old enough to figure these ones out. My GraviTrax Expansion Lifter review will be ready on Friday. Just like Track Time, where I can use parts to make my own layouts, GraviTrax is very adjustable. I still had that last setup from my Starter Set review on my filming table. I will show how I connected the Lifter and made some track changes. It will show viewers how modular the pieces can be. To be honest, it was fun to be creative and 'build' something. If it didn't work, make adjustments. It was a very peaceful experience =)

Great video! Your presentation was much better than the official Ravensburger presentation at the annual viennese toy fair. Never seen multi-level track layouts before. :-) Not a fan of the magnetic cannon. :-P

Thanks! As for the Magnetic Cannon, it is a key piece in larger set-ups. That one layout is not the best. I watched other reviews and I wasn't the only one with that issue =) I needed to move on but another method to slow the ball down is add another riser piece to make that next stack taller. Some people have built some awesome runs!

Great review. Looking at buying this starter for my grandson. Why do all the other rails just drop in and the finish rail has to clip in causing you to break it? Should be so design the same simple drop in method. Did you break it by error on placement or is this likely to happen to everyone at some point you think?

Quite a few people have broken the little green finishing track. If it happens to your grandson, they can contact Ravensburger and get a free replacement :)

There are slots for it to fit in the three lane piece, but not in any others. Be careful to only use it at the end of that piece otherwise it may break

Hi, can you create with the starter kit, an "infinite" run?, put the marbles on the track, and that be like "perpetual movement"?

At this time, the accelerator or elevator pieces need to be manually reset.

You really need the Starter Set first. All of the other sets build off of the Starter Set. As for Pro, it might not be available in all countries at the moment.

Yeah, but in my opinion, they are made to last for generations! Plus, they can be used for many layout designs. You can keep checking for sales because twice last year, it was $43 at Target and on Amazon. I have a link in the description. If you shop on Amazon, you can save the items to lists and keep checking the price when you visit.
