I probably won't find the time to make such tutorials, but you can find my code on Github: github.com/TobiasLe/VirusMarbleModel If you know some python this might give you some insights.

Loved the simulation, also loved the reflection of this experiment at the end of the video. For me your work is not 'humble' at all. Would love to see more people on the internet so positively persuading yet so intelligent. Thank you for the video.

How do you do this animations? They are amazing
@MarbleScience
@MarbleScience 4 жыл бұрын
I use Blender in combination with some python scripting. The physics engine is called Bullet. Bullet is also integrated in Blender, but I run it externally with a little wrapper I have written for pybullet. (github.com/TobiasLe/bpyBullet) That gives me a bit more flexibility. For example I added sounds on collisions of marbles. I think its hardly noticeable now with the music though 😃

@@MarbleScience STUNNING animation work!! How much time did you spend working on these animations and what's your level of experience with Blender prior to making these videos?
@MarbleScience
@MarbleScience 3 жыл бұрын
@@ykartd I had basically no experience with blender or other 3D software before I started. I began with the great donut tutorial like everyone seams to: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioHVn4Z3eM6HgJY But yes it certainly takes time to get into it. I certainly spent spend more then a month working on this video.

:D yes I did. For the dynamics of the virus it actually doesn't really matter if people die or recover. At least if they are immune afterwards, it is both the same from the perspective of the virus.
