The second Q2 in a row where they made up spots to be Top 3 after 1 lap when they started Bottom 3. This time however, Swifty managed to get pole in the last couple of corners whereas Speedy lost out in the same way.

It hurts my soul man! I’m 90% sure I can predict how the actual race will go too. Bolt will gain a position or two in the first lap then spend the next 2/3 of the race getting up to around 14th. Then, in the last 2 to 3 laps, they will drop quickly back to 18-20th getting a grand total of 0 points. At least they’re consistent🥲

I stopped getting notifications for these videos, so it's been like a year. I like Wolf Pack, but only know Sirius and Fenrir. Who are the others? And are the Limers still around or did they fold? They're my favourite team, and they weren't in the Marble league either. Knowing them, they just failed to qualify, but I'm scared they're gone due to consistent bad form. 😢

Swifty with arguably the greatest qualifying run in Marbula One history. Passed 3 marbles in the very 1st turn on lap 1. Fell back to 8th for a bit. Then used the accelerator to power past 4 marbles to gain the 3rd position at the end of lap 1. That set up his heroics on Lap 3, with the great pass at the end.

In the first minute I already like this track. So many small curves, I think that'll help create a lot of contact and drama in the race. Edit: And now watching the Q2, I see how much drama you get from that curb on the corner after the accelerator: you have to hit that curb properly or you lose momentum. What a course. Physical and demanding top form, plus a long straightaway to test their mettle.

I get concerned when I see the accelerator because it fails for at least one marble every race. It failed for frosty on lap 1 of Q2. I still remember Electron Expressway from season 3 where Momo went from 3rd place to 9th on lap 7 because they didn't get the accelerator boost. Hopefully something like that doesn't happen for this race.

I've been watching the Thunderbolts over the years, and all these tracks with lots of corners don't do them any favours. They seem to do a lot better in the straights where they can speed up and overtake better! Speed is the name of their game when they get a chance! Come on Thunderbolts, you can only get better....I hope!!!

Tumult is not a rookie, he raced in seasons 2 and 3 as well (although he usually was the worse of the 2, now it seems to be turning around - I'm happy for him, but I wish we could have more than 1 proper racer at the same time :D)

Tumult ran well last year. The BoCs have to find a replacement for Clutter - it never seems to do well.

@@watson956 Looking at the stats, Clutter did better than Anarchy in S1, better than Tumult in S3, and a bit worse than Tumult in S2, so I wouldn't say he was always an issue ... but this year, he absolutely needs to improve.

Clutter is a veteran and has had some great seasons in the past, but he might be showing his age a bit. Tumult is no rookie. He's had some mediocre performances but seems to be catching his stride this season.

Back in season 1 this was the first video and race I ever watched from this channel and Marbula One. This track did not have an accelerator back then but the design is the exact same also started watching this channel due to lack of sports on at the time due to COVID

The duel between Speedy and Royal during the final laps was a real thril, as well as Speedy's comeback. Iceberg was good, though ended race not as high, as could. That guy just gave a real fight, being so many times dropped down and so many times climbing back to the first five positions.

I am a huge fan of the Savage Speeders. Speedy will always be my favourite racer after winning in season 1, but having seen this performance from Swifty, he has really proven himself as more than capable of being at this prestigious team. What a battle from 10th to 1st in three laps.

spoilers below: That move that Swifty made during that snake-like section before the accelerator in Q2 Lap 1 to expertly weave between the crowd of Sirius, Starry and Momo was absolutely one of the best passes and usage of unconvential racing lines I've seen in Marbula One history. Going from a pretty distant 8th place into 5th with only barely kissing the apex of one of the turns while everymarble else is bashing off the walls is textbook racing. Swifty, you're making me so proud as a Savage Speeders fan in your inaugural season. I hope Rapidly is watching with manly tears in their eyes at your display, back in Accelaise. Quickly is an absolute dog of a coach and the depth of excellence across our whole team is staggering (as proven by our complete dominance of the Relay Race in ML and the fact every member has at least two medals, including our reserves, one of them good enough to even make the full team).

In Q2, it seems like experience counted towards the results. Marbles with lots of experience in Marbula One and in the Marble League overall were better prepared to deal with the pressure and stress - bravo to the winners!
