Gotta love Marc having a ciggie and a Chang beer during the interview

I wish he didn't interrupt Faber so many times asking new questions. Like a competition and goal to ask as many questions as possible. Otherwise, Faber is GREAT.

Swiss National Central Bank is already buying stocks. Yes, they monetize government debt, banking debt, corporate debt but they also PRINT Swiss Franc and buy stocks all over the world. Especially in USA. One of the largest owners of many big stocks. SNBC is basically a hedge fund. But this hedge fund must not raise capital from rich people who risk their money or use bank depositer's money, they just print money and buy stocks. How the US can allow this US beyond me.

Be old, "working" in finance and then complain about jobless young people. Thats really a tough one. Furthermore only a slave has the duty to work hard. Like in the camps.
@adohmnail64453 жыл бұрын
Only the weak and feeble think work is slavery. You work because you hone a craft, profession or calling. You better yourself. Only a slave sees himself as a slave because they have equity in their own life.

I always enjoy listening to Dr Faber. I dont understand how with Environazism on the rise, airlines collapsing and possibly never returning, and the probable future of electric cars and petrol cars becoming obsolete---how is it a bullish picture for oil???

Take a day off and visit a farm. See how the farmer feeds his family as well. Even if the farmer is an explorer of labor, look to see how he feeds and houses his workers. Visit a female farmer as well. Then go and see the agricultural processor or mass manufacturer. Then visit the retail store. You may want to visit an internet food distributor. Obviously this is not a field trip, but a pedagogical exercise. If you measure the btu steps per leg for each gram of food, you will see the massive subsidies paid by federal governments to grow food planet wide, Each person/entity you visit including the individual customer cannot live without hydrocarbons. To quote a classic cliche, there is “no free lunch”.

The numbers for “peapod” from 1999-2002 are still available on lexis/nexus and data services. Read the numbers and risk factors in issuing documents. You may find them on Edgar online as well. Nothing has changed since then. Americans do not understand Marxist theory. Marxist theory explains peapod’s demise. If you only understand capitalist theory, you will always say “I don’t understand”. Capitalism by the way can explain peapod’s resurgence.

Electric vehicles are only 5% of market, there will be a huge need for oil well into the future. In addition, oil is the feedstock for plastics - huge need into the future. Oil stocks are oversold.
