Martell is not an artist! Only a brilliant imitator! With professional technical equipment It is astonishing that these are so easily deceived. It’s shocking that Freddie Mercury’s miraculous art is being cheated so soon! Freddie has had a lot of struggles to make Queent great and give people amazing music. Martell is just parasitizing on all of this.

...took him many hours of practice. I don't like him for the reason he hides the effort. One of the saddest reasons Queen didn't go with him is because he's exactly that... good at sounding like Freddie. Adam Lambert is shite and it was a shame for all Queen fans that the band overlooked Marc. They could have paid real tribute to the legend with a song written for Freddie, but which was realized with Marc...wouldn't that have been something?
@robertgiese92112 жыл бұрын
Flora , this song was put together like a jigsaw by Brian and Roger in a Sound Studio with all the gadgets they could lay their hands on to make Freddie sound as great as he does .Put Marc in the same studio and see if you can pick which one is Freddie .Their both great singers .

@@philip851 I wouldn't say that Marc hides the effort. You can still pick out missed lyrics and the "warts and all" if you listen for them. Even on this video he admits that he hasn't rehearsed or performed the song in a while, as it was an impromptu request on a livestream. Unless you mean "hides the effort to sound like Freddie", which in that case, there's no hiding it. His bandmates have shared on multiple occasions that Marc doesn't "try" to sound like Freddie, it just comes out like this. "Do or do not, there is no try."

I don't know, what's the bigger treasure - the parts, where you've nailed it, or the parts, where (as some prim and proper critic would say) you "screwed up". This song is like a posthumous monument to Freddie, he didn't have time to re-interpret it, tweak anything, sing something differently. Every time you make a mistake - the song comes alive, starts to breath, opens from a new perspective and shows a whole space of "what could've been"s. Dude, you're a genius!
