What I used to love about Overmars was if he got a defender isolated you just knew he would get past him. The only person I ever saw him struggle to beat for pace was Ivan Cordoba in an international match, but that was when Overmars was past his peak. Still very very quick at that time, there is a video on YT of Overmars outpacing a young CR7 - in the season Overmars was retiring too, which is pretty bonkers. It wasn't just his pace and his dribbling ability, he had fantastic output too in terms of goals and assists. The 2 best wingers I've seen in my time watching Arsenal are Pires and Overmars and I can't pick my favourite - very comparable goals scoring and assist ratio's too, with Pires just edging it statistically and playing more games for the gunners. Not bad company for Overmars to be sharing.
