Well, I think if the PBA is not interested in Pension for the Players. U can do it on your own way. Paying with Ur monthly salary in SSS. I think U can declare it as self declared. Para pag dumating ang panahon na senior na kau. Me pension kau. And then with Ur very high salary U can engaged in Business. Kailangan dyan ang financial literacy sa mga mga magagaling na financial like Sir Vincent Rapisura. A famous financial analyst fr Ateneo. Nag conduct din sya sa mga OFW. Marami akong natutunan kay Sir Vince nung naka attend ako ng mga seminar nya while abroad. Mind set po how to handle Ur Salary each every one of U. Sayang ang mga millions kung walang mind set for this matter. For the better future. God bless Us All po.❤

Maganda ung suggestions regarding pension, insurance or educational assistance for the kids. Malaking tulong sa players lalo na after retirement o nagkasakit ang player may pagkukunan sla. Sa smc or mvp bka may benefits sila sa players nila or after retirement may tulong na business pra sa knila. Regarding pension siguro may specific years of playing at depende rin sa salary ng player. Just asking lng ang mga basketball players ba puede maging member ng SSS o philhealth?

All the concerns that you've raised are all legit... But i think, since you are all in the position to make a change, why not make the change? And exert the effort. The teams or the pba will not do those things because lets face it, it involves money and at the end of the day business is business. My suggestion is that you make a Stock corp or a cooperatative, get into several businesses,. Make the players as stockholders/ investors, and from their investments declare dividends... your corp or coop can also apply for insurance either health or educational to your members so this addresses the concern for the education of the kids, health concerns and also extra money for pension.

I don't think it's about pambayad bro. Baka more siguro sa availability ng parking din. Imagine going into a game tapos wala kang mahanap na parking space sa venue. Dapat may reserved na slots talaga para sa players para di na sila mahirapan maghanap and then for their safety na din.
