Sir Amadeo that’s my favorite call. It’s a shame there isn’t a clear clip with just his call, as the only ones on KZbin have music dubbed over it or extremely bad quality. Also, most videos of that game winner have another person on the call, not Zumoff.

Have lived in Philly my entire life. I'm 32. I'm not even sure Marc himself realizes how highly he's held among us. He is the voice of Allen Iverson's career. I cried when I found out he retired. He's not even that old. Just totally shocking to me. I never liked Merrill Reese. Marc has always been my favorite here in Philly. Me and my friends have joked for years about his trademark "YYYYYEEESSSSS" call when the Sixers hit a big play. I already miss his voice big time. Not a big fan of the girl they hired. I hope Marc enjoys his retirement. Harry Kalas literally worked until he died. He died in the booth. Some may view that as a positive thing, he died doing what he loved. However, I'm happy Zumoff will get many years of enjoying life, doing whatever he pleases. Thank you Marc, you were so wonderful at your profession that you made a mark on people like me. Even when the Sixers were horrible in those "Process" years you made it worth it to watch.

Was really hoping for at least ONE of Marc's "Count it...AND a foul!" calls in here lol
@MattCProductions_3 жыл бұрын
Ah dang I guess I don't have one where he says "count it." Closest I got was 1:49 "YES! and a foul!" for JJ Redick and Iverson's and-1 at 2:29 when he says, "YES! and he's fouled!" Also the Simmons play at 11:13 where he says "YES! and a foul!" much like the Redick play. But I'm glad I gathered a good spread of clips though. I miss listening to Marc call games.
