As a druid main (balance prio) id recommend always tell first time players go for druid for being the most divers class. But if it comes to raiding or M+ and you want to rise up the difficulty just don't play druid, in raid its been a bad xpack overall for both specs and other classes do the more in every aspect, for M+ balance just works better based on game design of of that content.

You do not have to lose a lot of single target DPS to run cleave. I am so tired of hearing people say that. All you need is to keep rampant ferocity and pick up primal wrath by dropping literally anything. There’s so much to choose from.

Thanks for the video! Love these thoughts. Unironic advice for others: DON'T play what's more fun for YOU. Listen to other people's experiences with the classes you're interested in, try to find out what are the core designs and philosophies of the classes and specs, and then weigh up the differences to determine the class/spec that is fun and makes sense for you.

Always play feral and decided to try balance this raid tier and have been miserable. Finally decided to just go back to feral and have been enjoying my druid way more

as a feral main. the reason balance is better in m+ is actually due to something we think feral is good at, which is interrupt. In keys 1-25, Feral is better at interrupting. But since interrupts on 25+ keys are more regular and are told when to be interrupted by the group leader, having a 6 second silence is much better for a group than an interrupt with a 15 second cooldown. I don't have much experience with 28+ keys. However, there hasn't been a dungeon that I couldn't complete because I did less overall damage.. Deal less damage and live > deal more damage and die all the time. The reason why Balance is good is that mobs use less abilities when playing in a good team. TLDR, what I mean is this: Balance provides 'BETTER' crowd control than feral with a good team and a good interrupt rotation.

In the talent system, instead of choosing Incap Roar or Mighty Bash for Feral Druid, if we could give Mighty Roar directly to Feral and choose between Incap Roar and Solar Beam, Feral would be one of the best melee dps.
