Marcelito was born with the ability to sing in soprano, tenor and baritone ranges. He's also singing in both English and Italian, neither of them is his native language. He can also sing in multiple languages that he can't speak, including Japanese, French, and Spanish. He was abandoned by his mother and grew up on the streets of the Philippines. What an amazing singer he is. ❤

Amazing isn't he? As people in the comments told you Dimash is professionally trained from 5yrs old where Marcelito was abandoned and living on the streets from 7yrs old. He sings in different languages none of which he speaks and also different voices and genre's. He will amaze you every time. The natural follow is "power of love " also on wishbus. Note the big difference and I am sure no one will disagree- Dimash has to exert so much effort to reach high notes while Marcelito sings with pure calmness even sitting down. Marcelito is pure Filipino.

Dimash is classically well train of music and spent for a long year since his maybe an elementary day while Marcelito Pomoy live in the street in his teen's days feed by him self due to he was abandoned by his mom, in short self tough by him self in in a way of singing no proper music training at all.

The main difference between Dimash and Marcelito is training. Dimash had a lifetime of classical training to Marcelito being self-taught. Dimash sings high and low but does not switch back and forth in a snap like Marcelito. He's far more flexible in what he can sing and adapting his voice. The difference is Marcelito has that natural female voice in him that he didnt even gain it from training thats why he did not struggling hitting highnotes in female voice .no train or skills just him singing two parts 😊

I think you're onto something there with the "perfect pitch" thing, only it's articulation as well as pitch. When you hear him *speak* English, it's accented (improved since he's been touring in English-speaking countries over the past few years), whereas when he's singing, you're hearing Bocceli's Italian-accented English and Dione's French-Canadian accent!

Back in 77' while in the Navy one port of call was Olongapo,. Philippines. Every bar had bands that played covers & sounded exactly like the original singer, guitar player, drummer, etc. Boston had just released their debut album & one bar had a band that played that entire album in order as the songs were on the album & they sounded just like Boston. Journey found Arnel there as he sounded just like Steve Perry. It is common to see music mimicked.
