WXYZ had Syndie Sale from day one. And the ticket plug was cut from the 17 weeks of first-run episode reruns. Some were replaced with parting gifts.

This makes this even more bizarre now. Subsequent reruns (maybe including the Summer 1985 reruns) of this episode along with the other Feb. 1985 to the final few weeks of S1 syndie eps. have these mysteriously edited with departing gifts replacing not only the ticket plug but the credits as well. Plus I notice that the credits cheaply chyroned in those departing gifts in the subsequent reruns of these episodes.
