Jesus says we can go to the father. Ask him for your health. Don't ask dead people. There is nothing in the Bible that suggests they can even hear you. The father himself loves you

@@jordan-kristina2014 This is a common and sad misunderstanding. Jesus insists that God is the God of the living and not the dead. Do you believe him? Do you pray for others? Do others pray for you? What about those saintly ones that went ahead of us, Aren’t they closer to Him?

Show me one single scripture of somebody praying to anyone other than God and God being pleased with it. It doesn't matter if they are closer to God now. What scripture do you have that makes you think people in heaven have a divine ability to hear many prayers all at once. We have to go off of scripture. And not off of church traditions that are 100 percent absent from the lives of every prophet, every Godly king, all the apostles and from scripture

@@jordan-kristina2014 What makes me think it? Well, I am so thankful that by His grace, my family has been blessed with faith; both tradition AND scripture. It is so beautiful to have friends in heaven that pray for me just as you have friends that pray for you and you for them, hopefully.

@@jordan-kristina2014 And fyi, tradition predates scripture. You wrongly state it is 100% absent. The Jewish religion was fundamentally based on tradition.
