As always Lora, thank you. And! Please keep in mind that all of the past content you’ve made is still out there, and relatively newer folks like myself are still getting lots from that. It’s clear to myself and probably many others that you’re putting *so much* out there for us. You’ve helped inspire a whole new potential chapter for me in my academic journey (I’m an archaeologist ) relating to my perspective on the reality of guides, gods and guardians, or other spirits in and of place. My next goal relative is an ethical exploration of how archaeologists can be respectful and attentive of these matters rather than constantly equivocating or just pretending these experiences aren’t happening…hmmm side rant for another day …and every time I come back here or to The IPS channel I’m more inspired to sit down and put the work in. So credit for all the help and inspiration, bc it’s really really good ;)

I adore this content. And burnout central is my official location, so let me tell you to please rest as much as is needed (and preferably even more than that). This burnout content is so helpful to others, I can speak to that from personal experience. So don't feel like you aren't helping enough. You've already done so much that even if you fully stopped today, you would've already made an incredible and continuing impact. Don't get caught up in rushing. Allow time to move more slowly.

Lora, finding you, Jon, and the IPS has truly been a blessing to me. I am learning so much about Ireland, it's God's, customs, myths, legends, history, and post colonial trama. Because of you I have learned ways of giving back to Ireland, to support and share Irish content through videos and articles. I have learned the difference between appropriation and appreciation. I can now successfully meditate with your journying. I have made a deal with myself to do one every day starting in April. I am slowly learning Irish through Duolingo. You have made such a positive impact upon my life. I have left Wicca behind after 26 years, and am committed to learn more about the Irish path/ faith. It feels right, it feels like a calling- something that was waiting for me to be ready for it. I have loved all of the videos that you and Jon have done. Congratulations on completing your challenge. You are simply amazing. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for your Tuáth. (Hopefully I spelled that right) Don't feel guilty about needing to step back and take time to recover as well as work on your schooling and other projects. The best thing that you could do for yourself, and us, is to take care of yourself. Take time for you. Do things that bring you joy. Spend time with people who love and support you. Garden, read, go for walks, take bubble baths, drink some soothing tea, whatever it is that makes you smile and soothes your soul- do it.

Honestly you're asking if it's a good idea to start all these new projects while you're still doing a shit load of work with the IPS and working on your thesis *while* contending with burnout and no, no I don't think starting any new projects is a good idea. Like I know I'm just some stranger on the internet, but everything you described here was a bewildering amount of work, and even if it's something that you love doing it's a dizzying load. It sounds like an unsustainable pace, and considering you look increasingly tired in your more recent videos it's hard not to worry just a little.

The past (nearly) 90 days have been a wonderful opportunity for me to learn all the things about Ireland that I never knew and likely never would have learned if I hadn't discovered you, Jon, and the IPS. I almost wish my mom was still alive so I could share your videos with her. She was fascinated by Ireland ever since my family first visited over two decades ago. As a Pagan, your videos and the IPS classes are what I wish I had had access to years ago when I started trying to build my path. Thank you so much, Lora and John, for everything you've done! I can't wait to see what's in store for this channel and for IPS in the future.

Make sure you’re having fun too. I wanted to add that, because it’s important. I want to ask you if you think you’ll publish your thesis, because now that you’ve dropped what it is, I want to read it. Maybe like the wonderful Gulermovich- Epstein thesis?

It will take me another 6 months just to get caught on all the videos that you and Jon have posted the past 90 days. All good stuff. Take care Mechanicsburg PA USA

I'm a newbie here, doing your 21 day intro, which is great. Thank-you so much. While I would love a podcast, you are teetering on the edge of complete burnout. Table the podcast idea and get in some garden time. I'm jealous of your garden as I live in the Canadian Rockies and it can snow any time of the year, albeit rare in July and August. On top of that, the deer and snowshoe hares eat everything. So please garden for me. ❤

It's good to step back a little so you don't get burnt out especially with all the great work you've been doing. I know you want to keep on making new content but your Masters is the most important + doing your work with your own channel and the Irish Pagan School also. Remember always take time for yourself to relax & reset

Good for you for pulling back to take care of yourself first. You aren’t letting anyone down, you are teaching self care through example. I know that FOMO is real, and hard to fight against. I’d hold off on the podcast, as you said the content is done, I think you can always go back to it. In my own life I have found the quiet times are the hardest, fewer distractions so I have to do the self reflection, and self care. I’ve loved watching all your KZbin content both here and at the IPS site. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you so much for the 90 day challenge. That is a rich deep well of wealth and knowledge that I will be returning to. You provide an abundance of content, but it is there for a purpose - for grounding in the knowledge and doing the work. So, let this time of less content, be a time for the community to each focus more on the individual work. Only since you're asking, as I'm not one to dole out advice, I suggest you defer to Jon as regards what might be best for your health. I would venture to guess he knows you best, or at least very well. You say he's on the fence about something you should or shouldn't do. I would give that weight when contemplating these things. I would also err on the side of committing to only doing so much - and sticking to it. It really is urgent during burnout to emphasize self care and rest (naps are a good thing) during this time. You are a Mammy, but you are not everyone's Mammy. Take care Lora. I'm wishing you the best on your journey.

Would I listen to a podcast of collated content from you and anyone else from IPS in a hot minute? Yes. Am I also glad that you are putting your health first? Emphatically yes. I have such gratitude for what you and the others at IPS have put out into the world and for what I have been able to receive on my end. Would never feel entitled to any more of your content/work/energy other than what you are willing to share.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet... I feel so grateful to you and Jon for the IPS classes and for all the YT content [new and old]. Every minute watched and cent spent has been a worthwhile investment. Although I am experiencing burn out, I have never felt so sure about myself and my spiritual practice. From the moment I started watching your Morrigan videos on KZbin last year to the [book] "Irish Witchcraft from an Irish Witch" I am now reading.. you've helped me become more authentic within my skin, and if I am not overstepping I would like to say I have so much love for you and all that you do. 🤗

Hey, Lora! Thank you for the update. I am also in a position of wanting to do more and knowing that I shouldn't. I'm trying my best to be still and behave. As for the podcast, I think it's a wonderful idea, and it sounds like something that you want to do. But I also think it could be dangerous to your burnout recovery if you put a timeline on it. If you say: "I'm going to do this podcast once a week", I know that you'll want to meet that timeline. An alternative? Not putting a timeline on it and not putting it on the calendar. Doing it spontaneously when you're in the mood. As in, waking up one morning and asking Jon: "Hey, do you want to sit down together and talk about Tara today?" I'm comfortable with everything being spread out. Sometimes, I've been led to some of your shorter videos over others, because it had the message that I needed when I needed it. So, from my perspective as one of your students, there's no rush. I'm okay with doing the leg work. Thank you for everything that you do. I hope that this doesn't come off as unsolicited advice. I would love to have a single source material for all of the information that you have, but not at the cost of your health. If not now, there will be time to sew it all together at a later time when you're fully recovered, I'm sure. Slán!

Podcast would be a great idea if you wouldn't be already burnout-ed. You are doing so much that I have nothing but respect and awe for it, you are very important person for modern Irish paganism and if nothing else will convince ya maybe kinda think about it like that - if you still want to do a great job you need to give yourself right to rest as much as you need it and then some. You are not a feckin robot xD I'm in regen group in Extinction Rebellion and what you feel about not feeling like you are doing enough is very familiar to me but as activism what you do is not a sprint but a marathon so :) Rest, rest and more rest, contact with nature, gardening, whatever brings your soul joy and energy.
