This month's challenge is my most requested video yet: Paper Clutter! Paper clutter decluttering is something I’ve been putting off because it’s not only a tough thing to declutter, but it’s also tough to document on video! But with Tax day right around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to tackle our paper clutter mess. Even if you’ve already done your taxes, you may be wondering what to do with all your receipts and extra paper work. I decided that this is the year I’m going to start digitally filing everything.
The app I’m using to digitally file is called iScanner. (I’m using the paid version). You may find one you like better, but be sure to use one that allows you to send to google drive or email to yourself easily. This monthly decluttering challenge should take you anywhere from 4 to 10 hours, depending on how much paper you have!

In case you don't want to watch the video through a second time, here's the March Messy Minimalist Decluttering Challenge breakdown:
1. Search your entire house for ALL paper clutter! (car and purse too!)
2. Put all papers into ONE spot.
3. Start sorting into categories. (Bills, Car, Health, Pets, etc…)
4. Go through each category one by one using your scanning app
5. Toss or shred what you’ve scanned. Keep anything that needs attention in a pile.
6. Send all scans to google drive or upload to your computer. You’re done!
TIP: Don’t get caught up with looking through sentimental paper clutter… we’ll do that in another challenge!
