How you doing Rueben. Whaylan here. I just started planting veggies and I wanted to know what are the best veggies to plant during winter... I know that onions and garlic are well during winter but what else can I plant successfully during the cold weathers

Hi Whaylan, Thank you so much for watching! There are quite a number of crops that you can grow. My favorite cool crops, in addition to onion and garlic, are: Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kale, Swiss Chard, Carrots, Beetroot, Peas and Broad beans. Hi there, I am sorry to hear about your cabbage and spinach browning. Eish, there could be number of reasons why your cabbage and spinach leaves are turning brown. Overwatering or under watering, very high temperatures or nutrient deficiency can also cause the leaves to turn brown. Perhaps this can serve as a guide to see if this is the cause of your problem. Please don't allow this experience to discourage you to pursue your gardening dream.

Yoh Rueben, your butternut is so perfect😩🔥🔥🔥what a beautiful harvest. Please what do you do after harvesting? Do you wash &consume them immediately or you store them a bit before consumption? I saw other channels that you either place some veggies or fruits in a cool place or sun for a day or 2 before they can be consumed. Thanks in advance

@sonwaa Ya I fortunate this year with the butternut 😊 In the beginning of the season I lost a number of butternut due to poor pollination. After the butternut harvest, I put my butternut on the window sill to cure for a while in the sun before we consume them.
