A timing light is for adjusting the firing point on a car engine that still had a distributor. It astounds me how many microwaves you pick up Matt. My microwave is like 20 years old , how are so many of them breaking there? The automotive fan doesn't have a motor in it it has a clutch , no not the clutch to drive the car either. Lastly , bed frames might be angel shaped but they aren't usually mild steel so while very useful for welding/building projects some care has to be taken to make sure joints are made correctly and with the proper material.

@@paulineriley1336 technically you are not suppose to pick from the pile. but if you do you are suppose to buy it - normally at a higher price than shred. My yard doesn't care too much but there were ton of lights and that they would not have been ok with. Some o the stuff they will pick out of the pile and break down themselves. For example - someone dumped an AC unit and Jeff scooped it up right away and broke it down. That is what all the employees do during down time.

We have been adding that to our totals to - a washer is 150 and a dryer is 100. We did save them but didnt scrap them. So the weight is still included in the saved from landfill total.
