Oh yeah, one of my favorite games in the series! And this sounds absolutely fantastic, it’s so energetic! Edit: I just realized that the backbeat actually changes where it would switch between offbeats and onbeats (I’ve memorized the offbeat patterns in lockstep so I can tell) and that is just another level of detail, absolutely superb

Just in case you didn't know, The backbeat also changes in the original lockstep soundtrack

I like how the first thing recommended for me from this video today (7/6/2023, 11:32:48 AM) is an FNaF World song called "The Flipside", as in "Catch You on the Flip Side", as in the Gift for Lockstep 2, and this is an arrangement of Lockstep 2's prequel! (I know, this comment was a bit long, but still.) (Also, I listen to that fairly often, so that's SORT OF cheating, and not a coincidence, but STILL.) (Fun Fact: I'm not an ACTUAL Rhythm Heaven fan, I just can't stop talking about it since 2023, and because of that, and a bunch of other reasons, I ALSO couldn't stop talking about "The Flip Side", and that's how I ended up finding the song called "The Flipside". I'm ALSO not an FNaF fan either, as I BARELY know ANYTHING about it!)

if this was an actual stage, i bet, despite the different name, it would act like a "lockstep 3" with a slightly faster tempo (go to video settings and set the speed to x1.2 for what i mean) & the fact that the camera has a much wider range & somewhat smoother movement, zooming right in to as close as the camera is to the central stepswitcher's face on the video, or zooming out very far to reveal bach's entire body (which is now robotic to fit the theme: when the background is pink bach looks more like a clockwork toy made of cogs, when the background is red he is more like a modern robot made with circuitboards & wiring)
