I've never read an Ali Hazelwood book, but Bride sounds right up my alley. I'll have to check it out. My favorite book of March was The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, what a book! Happy reading!

Happy reading to you! And thank you for sharing your fave read! The Glass Castle sounds like an interesting one ☺️ And I hope you love Bride! Both books I've read from Ali Hazelwood were fun "can't put down until its over" type reads for me.📚✨

I love this reading redemption arc for you this month!! 🎉 So many good books! My March was filled with the Plated Prisoner series and Red Rising, so also very good. I think Red Rising takes the cake this month though 🎂

I love that you called it a "reading redemption arc" lol 😄 Ahh I really need to read Plated Prisoner! It's been on my shelves for entirely too long! And YES, totally agree Red Rising is at the top for sure 😏🚀📚✨

So happy you liked Foxglove! Belladonna was one of my top reads last year, I really need to continue with the series 😅 My favorite for March was probably A Dowry of Blood which was very unexpected. I originally removed it from my TBR because I thought I'd hate it, but actually ended up loving it. Very nicely written book :> I didn't have many good reads otherwise, hopefully April will be better!

Haha, this really was the month of "books that I'm nervous about but actually ended up really enjoying" 😂 I think when I go into a book unsure and it surprises me, I end up loving it even more lol and A Dowry of Blood has been on my list for awhile (I meant to read it last October😅), so I definitely need to get to it this year! Wishing you the best April reading month!! 📚✨

I’ll be fitting in Foxglove sometime this month as a buddy read with one of my besties. I hope I like it as much as you did! Belladonna was amazing. Sad you didn’t love Hunt on Dark Waters. I loved it and can’t wait for the sequel next month.

Ahh yay! I hope you like Foxglove! Since you liked Belladonna i’m sure you will, it has a very similar vibe ☺️🦊✨

I think I'm just going to continue living in denial about the Chestnut Springs series being over. a couple favourites in March were The Order of Scorpions, and What You Are Looking For Is In The Library.

I think I'm going to join you in that denial 😂 And I'm totally intrigued by Order of the Scorpions, and What You Are Looking For has the cutest dang cover! I might have to check those out as well! 😊📚✨

omg I loved bride too! I was slightly worried about the knot LOL but it didn’t bother me really 😅 I definitely need to read butcher & blackbird; I’ve been reading chestnut springs so slowly bc I don’t wanna finish the series 😭 I’m glad you had such a good reading month 🥰
@jenseereads9 ай бұрын
Bride was SO good! And you totally should read Butcher & Blackbird; it was..unique lol but so fun 😋 and I'm really hoping Elsie Silver's other series are just as good as Chestnut Springs, because I need more! 😬🤞🏻

Great reading month! I really wanne get bride by ali hazelwood and you giving it 5 stars is just the perfect excuse to buy it 😂 I so get the feeling of anxiety and that reading sad/dark books makes it worse Sometimes i just can't get into a book because it makes my anxiety spike so i just have to dnf it sad tho because i do like those kinds of books its just some have way to many triggers Anyway i hope your anxiety get better You know lavender is a big help for me Happy reading ❤

Always happy to be an excuse to buy books 😂 And thank you ♥️ I've never had anxiety like this before and it's been pretty rough, BUT it's been improving little by little ☺️ And it's funny you mention lavender. I ended up getting a lavender and flax heat pack to put on my chest. I used to hate the smell of lavender, but now it's so comforting lol Happy reading to you! 🤗💕

My favorite reads from March was City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab and Flowertheart by Catherine Bakewell. I am planning to read Golden Son soon I just put it on hold from the library to encourage me to read more of the series I have started this year.
@jenseereads9 ай бұрын
City of Ghosts is one I've been wanting to read for awhile, happy to hear it was a fave of the month! Ahh and how fun that you're reading the Red Rising series too! 😄🚀📚✨
