I do my Bible study FIRST thing. I don’t check my phone, I don’t do social media or anything until then. I really feel like it changes my mindset for the whole day if I start my day with the Lord instead of the world

I look so forward to your videos. I don’t have any new goals for March but just continue reading God’s word daily and clean/organize one room. Also, you don’t even need makeup. So naturally pretty.

My biggest goal for March is to arrive and leave close to contract hours. I usually get to school 45 minutes before and stay 45-1 hour after and I want to be able to spend more of my time with my family and be more productive during the school day!

Have you thought about painting your home yourself? I promise it isn’t as hard as it sounds! You will save yourself tons of money…and you will learn a lot in the process! One thing I learned in February: difficult people are there for a season-to sharpen us and make us go higher Loved your reflection and I am going to try the no spend month! You’ve inspired me :-)

In February I learned that some fabrics are healthier to wear than others so my goal for March is to get rid of all synthetic fabrics and have a natural fibers capsule wardrobe.

Awww wish I had the option to heart this video but guess I’ll do it hear ❤❤❤. My monthly reset are very similar to yours I’ve always readjusted my goals if something is not working however this month I’m specifically focusing on my health goals. But I love Mathew 6:33 it’s seriously a loving reminder from God not to get overly anxious. 🙏🏼

Loved getting to watch your reset for this month. The verse you shared is something I need to remember more often. In February one thing I learned is that it doesn't do to dwell on the what could be different if a particular situation hadn't happened. My family and I have dealt with some unexpected health issues over the past year or so and while frustrating, it doesn't do any good to dwell on what could've been. And in March I have an overall goal of taking better care of myself. Getting my sleep schedule to be a bit better along with being better about eating breakfast more often. I tend to skip it and it's definitely not the greatest thing to do. Thank you for sharing about your joggers! I've been needing to get another pair but am very, very picky in regards to what clothes I purchase. Will be looking into the ones you shared.

I love these reset videos! It has really inspired me, every morning is my quiet time but on the first day of the month I have written a reflection of answered prayers, fun memories and prayers going into the month. I really loved looking back and it will be so special to look back on as the year goes! I learned in February to continue digging into my faith and a goal in March is to be very aware of the Holy Spirit and to listen to Him. Happy March! ❤️

Emma, you are one of my favorite youtubers. 😍 I watch every single one ,but I save them for my Monday treat.😅 You are so real, and that's what I love about you. You mentioned in your last video that we could ask for prayers.🩷 I am taking a series of GED tests this week, so if you think of it, I would love your prayers.🙏 Love you🫶

I kept a record of spending for February to see where my $ was going and I had to face the fact that I spend $ on "quick fixes" for teaching. I get tired and buy something ready-made and then spend time fixing it up to meet my needs, or worse- never get the time to print it and then never use it. Writing the $ down made me think twice about making purchases. I think, moving forward, that I need to set a budget for each month and stick to it. I also spent time cleaning out bins of materials and resources collected over the years that I won't use now that we have switched to Science of Reading as a focus... and it sickened me to see all the $ and time and energy going in the trash and recycling bin. I don't want to do this to myself again. I have used the fact that I started a new grade with a new literacy focus as an excuse to spend $ and that needs to stop. Every time someone would walk into my classroom and say "oh, this looks so nice" or "this place feels so special" I would feel justified in my purchases but this focus on looking like I know what I am doing is draining me emotionally and financially. I'd rather have a messy, mismatched room and more energy and joy to share than picture-perfect resources. I know your content has shifted away from teaching but I still come back to hear the voice of God reaching out to me through your journey and that gives me hope and inspiration. Thank you for sharing!

In February I put into action fun first with teaching Sunday school class.. which has spilled over into my homeschool.. other areas where God is using me. Just enjoying all He has me doing and being grateful for it! Goals for March: getting a new budget written out and making sure in my morning time with the Lord, I am listening way more than I am talking and meditating on His word more and prayer and reading with my husband as many nights as led❤️❤️

Hey Emma, lovely video again. I love this reset series. Last month God was talking to me about how I need to let him be in control. I seem to hand things over to him but then snatch them back! Anyway, towards the end of the month, I really just gave him the mess and let him deal with it, and so this month, I feel like it is a fresh start, and I don't have as much baggage to carry around. I am planning a no-spend month, there are a couple of little things that I know I am going to need, but I am turning 50 this month, so I feel this will be a good month for a no-spend month as already several friends have made arrangements to take me out 'their treat' is that allowed on a no spend month??? hehehehe.... well, this is my plan. Please keep doing what you are doing; your channel is brilliant.

I love this reset and was so fun to watch you just share with us! I think that the Matthew verse is so powerful and something to hold on to! You have definitely inspired me to get some productive things done before the month starts and set my monthly goals! I think I will start to do it every month with you! One thing that I learned in February was to not always try and get the attention. After praying about it the Lord has definitely helped me step back and not always be talking or grabbing the attention (because often times I feel embarrassed after). One thing I am going to try to do in March is go on runs and stretch after track practice. I started track on Monday and I am very sore. Another is to not leave my homework until Sunday to do it but do it on Friday after school. I like to start to prepare for the week on Sunday's and often times it doesn't get done because I have homework. Have an AMAZING day! ♥💕

March is my birthday month!! One thing I realized in February is that teaching kids in the classroom might not be my thing. As a teacher, you have to give so much so early in the morning and I just can't. I have changed jobs a couple of times and thought that I just needed to find the right one. Yes, there are fun parts but it seems I have to keep looking for my thing.

Honestly sometimes I'm at a point where I would get a time machine and fast forward to the holidays since this year doesn't feel like its been a good one. Maybe after watching this, i'll find something positive out of this month and know that good things will come eventually if I let them come on their own☺

Hi Emma this might be a silly question but as a new Christian I'm wondering: do you pray out loud or in your head? I'm trying to figure this all out
@emmagracejoens
@emmagracejoens Жыл бұрын
Both! If I’m driving in my car which is when I tend to pray the most, I like to pray out loud to keep me focused, if I’m going throughout my day I pray in my head. :)
