if he never cared abt holding back for the people around him he almost definitely would've been stronger than kenpachi and yamamoto by now SPOILER ALERT Toshiro had to seal his reiatsu away when he was a kid because it was overflowing and harming/killing the people around him from the frost he created, kinda like aizen but at a lower extent. When he gets his true bankai that's only just him getting back his original reiatsu that he sealed away, if he never sealed it and continued to train the true form it would've been one of the most op abilities in the entire show

Kubo really made a mistake with how to treat him as a character. In this episode he had some pretty cool things tho and he used sklave rai! Up to this point 1. Fixed the balance in literally the first episode before anyone noticed. (Had to kill 28k residents but it was nesseary though) 2. Found out about the Shadows and also a counter to it 3. Prepared for Ichigo to get back to Royal Palace 4. Brought back great assets that are needed in this war like the Vizoreds Arrancars and especially Toshiro which is the smartest to bring him to their side again. (Well, cut out Kensei and Rose they aren't needed 😂😂) at least in Zombi form they are usefull lol. 5. Probably forgot stuff but there is much more to come from Mayuri

The reason the love beam thingy didnt work on byakuya was because his clothes are made out of the Oken. The same thing ichigo, renji and Rukia's clothes are made of. Basically the bones of the Zero division. So it doesnt have any effect. Senjumaru (the puppet lady) is the one who made them for all of them

Since there was some confusion about if Hitsugaya was dead or not, no he wasn't. He was close to death. Gizelle mentioned that if she zombifies them while theyre on the verge of death theyre easier to control. If theyre dead then basically rigor mortus sets in and the body is stiff and less maneuverable as a result

Aizen talked, Yhwach acted. One of the things I love most about him is that he is straight buisness. Pull up, kill Yama and devastate the Soul Society. Transform the Seireitei and empower yourself with all the lifes lost in the battle. Wake up and go to the Royal Palace. He did in 23 episodes what Aizen couldn't do in over 100.

It's not that Aizen couldn't do it. It's that he chose not to. He told Ichigo that he could have taken the hogyoku anytime he wanted. And of course it happens in less episodes, the pacing of the adaptation is much faster and is seasonal. In the end, their both really dope, but simply have different ways of being so.

Hmm.....Different interpretations and different goals. 1. Yhwach has better means. For example he can give up powers and built up an army without being creative nor having to do much work. It's his power. 2. Much more time to build his army and plans 3. More people and stronger 4. Home advantage because they already were in the Seretei 5. Also Aizen was still playing because of interest and his personal goals to find a worthy opponent. I think that's the biggest difference in Aizen and Yhwach. The King is going straight to business while Aizen likes to play/analize/experiment/fool people

By the way, Michael, the reason why Pepe's Love didn't work on Byakuya is because his Kiss hit Byakuya's robes he got from Squad Zero. As Mayuri explained, those robes are made from the hair and bones of Squad Zero, which were turned into a King's Key by the Soul King. As such, they have amazing defensive properties, hence why the quartet was able to descend through the many barriers between the Sereitei and the Royal Palace. It's also why Nanana's Morphine Pattern didn't work on Byakuya, the robes didn't let his attack spot any "weaknesses" in Byakuya's reiatsu. (Although, it's also a testament as to how powerful Candice's Galvanno Blast is, for being able to destroy Ichigo's 1001 Nights-looking robes).

The fact that Mayuri defeated 3 captains, 2 sternritters and one lieutenant in ONE SINGLE episode just shows you that Yhwach was severely wrong for having chosen Urahara as one of The Special War Threats instead of Mayuri. Mayuri-Sama is the MVP. I Think a lot of people forget that Kisuke had Mayuri released from the maggots nest for a reason. Kisuke is a tactical genius that still has more of an ethical view on things. While Mayuri is more towards the analytical, he sees everything and anyone as a test subject, which makes him a truly formidable opponent. Love him or hate him, he's an amazing character. ❤ I actually enjoyed the PePe fight more in the Anime than I did when reading the Manga. I'm still just amazed by the quality of the animation in general. Catch ya next week.

For people who don't understand: Toshiro got drugged with the arrancar blood. The loop began when he decide to attack Mayuri, his mind hallucinate the fight and when he kill him, the drug take him back. So if he decide not to fight him, he's not under the drug, but when he decide , the drug activate.

Robert was most likely able to take advantage of Shunsui's lackluster motivation for fighting, as well as his imbalanced emotional states during their battle. The reason Shunsui got shot in the eye was because Robert used a sneak attack and a surprise ability with his Vollstandich. He got pretty injured after Yamamoto's death due to losing focus and Robert once again, taking his opportunity to try to end the fight. Those were the only 2 times he injured Shunsui. So he wasn't that strong. But pretty strong still. Byakuya is just on that demon time (also used bankai)
