I am making the snowflake as I watch . I have the print out from your Etsy store. I am using what I have in my craft box. My cord is more than 2 mm, so 24 was not going to fit on my 2 inch wooden ring. But I found a 70 mm ring and 24 cords fit perfectly. You are on pause while add the beads and do the DHH knots.

I've seen a few different macrame snowflakes. While they're cute, they're just not something I would want. These however are quite attractive and would look good on a Christmas tree, hanging on the wall or even just laid out on the coffee table for decoration.

I've got 24 2mm ropes around my ring and still plenty of space leftover. Either your ropes are 3mm or mine were mislabeled. Can I add in an extra 6 strings? Or otherwise what increment of extras can I add?

Hmm I’m not sure what happened- mines definitely 2mm and I made it 4 times before I shared it and it worked the same each time, I’m sorry about that!! Is your ring the same size?

I went to get the written pattern. It directed me to your Etsy page and went to paid version. The free version you get a page not found message.

I'm sorry about that! I updated the links and the free pattern is available on my website right here: www.marchingnorth.com/macrame-snowflake-christmas-ornament/
