TXSU !!!! Them boys sound good af. Aggressive, CLEAN, with phenomenal last note attack and release. Arrangements 🔥🔥🔥. This is what I like to hear. Shout out to the staff and the students putting in that work. Grambling I am impressed with how far the band has come. Grambling has cleaned up their sound a lot and for once sound like something. Not a threat, but overall better compared to years past. Great battle, but TXSU laid the hammer down.

Ocean 🌊 🌊🌊. I wasn’t there but I watched the game live and the broadcasters kept saying the ocean was loud throughout the whole game. I could hear the clarity & loudness through the stream as well. Grambling sounded 🔥as well. Great Job to both bands. When TxSU played that 112 song back I was shocked. 🔥

Both 112 selections were dope to me. I'm partial as a native Houstonian but a PV guy, I have seen Texas Southern on the rise since reforming from being disbanded. I thoroughly enjoyed both as this is what the SWAC is supposed to be! I think KZbin has made a lot of bands make uncomfortable changes within because every week you have to bring your A game!

I’m going to say this with both bands improving every week!!! And both bands song selections today which were fire we all know gram blows when they want not on everything that’s been proven but it comes down to preference!! But this battle gave me 2004 vibes from both when they actually went tat for tat gsu entire new book and clean and oceans balanced these two did a good ass job for week FOUR!!!!! comes toward next week and along the season these two will be ready good job ocean an world famed damn near 100 degrees yesterday 😂

You need more than just a good song selection to win a battle cause TxSU song selection was good as well! You also need clarity, cleanliness, and the ability to pack a punch at times when needed GSU gave me nun of that. GSU sounds muddy and unsure of the songs being played at times like they don’t wanna play the song. Nice song selection and better than past years but not good enough! Ocean for the win! 💯 🌊

Overall, good job Ocean + Motion. I feel Ocean could have had a better response to Grambling's Deborah Cox's, "How Did You Get Here" with a Mariah, Tamia or Toni Braxton tune. They are all from the same era. You could've even thrown in some Mary. I'm loving ithe rock tunes though. In regards to Motion, I saw some different Motion counts, but Motion needs to do more "as ones" counts. Those synchronized "as ones" and ripple counts killed it last season. It seems like every team is doing them more than last season.

What some people fail to understand, ALL songs played don't need to be overblown! When it comes to particular rap songs and certain parts of ballads, is when you turn the volume up. Some songs you just vibe to it. Over blown doesn't mean good. Gram was clean and balanced contrary to what others believe. Both bands did a great job! Gram is not everyones cup of tea and that's ok, at least they keep it original and keep doing them. They gonna be alright! GSU....I THOUGHT YOU KNEW...🖤💛❤
