I am a wildcat die hard in which my brother was a drummer for the marching men of cookman no ladies were in the band at that time we were a small band then but we always managed to steal the show now 40 years later we are the heavyweights of hbcu of course there are hater famu paved the way can never take anything away from them because of them it showed us what we needed to do hats off Mr Donavan Wells now we set the standers,paste and copy.

Can you blame him. They constantly are trying to raise the bar in musical entertainment. That looked hard as hell. Instead of saying aww damn he messed up should be saying I hope they didn't pull something with the jump splits they do.

Precision marching 200+ members band the Bethune Cookman Marching Band was in 2015 Honda Battle of the Bands. They look like toy soldiers and a big brass sound on the field the whole time. I love the soft brass sound with the French horns, trumpets and tubas playing "Once We Get Started" musical selection by Chaka.

I understand BCU normally does the same show from the FL Classic , but I enjoyed this show a lot better. Aside from the DM's messing up I still think they did a good job. 14k is always good eye candy, and they had a nice performance. Overall this was a good show, but the dance routine is what really got me hype.

These bands work hard. I know S.U. practice 20 hrs a week and I'd imagine BCU does about the same so 2 shows a year is good plus they need time to study and keep up their grades. My hats off to all the HBCU's.

As an alumni of the Jukebox, I always said this that Bethune-Cookman was always better than FAMU...and I still feel like that!!! Keep that sound wildcats!!

bcu never fails to impress me but they gotta come up with some new ideas. bcu is very predictable but they do it with execution and a beautiful sound without having to crank all the time which makes them different from other bands.
