Better guards, a big man that weighs as much as Edey, but is 7 inches shorter, Burns can knock him off balance, no one else has been able to do that. NC State is a more cohesive and complete team across the board IMO. If Edey has a slightly off game... NC State will win by double digits IMO.

I think State will match up well against Purdue. Eddy will be a force..but thats pretty much who purdue relies on you get big man a few fouls early it will be bench time for him. State is on a roll. Yeah, the miracle ‘83 run team only had to win 3 ACC games to get the bid. This year we won 5 ACC tournament games to get in. Phi Slamma Jamma of Houston were huge favorites, but UConn has been destroying teams. If State makes it past Perdue, that’s an amazing season. If they beat UConn? Greatest NCAAM title ever, in my opinion.

This is what makes College Basketball's post-season superior. A team like N.C. State gets hot and goes on a historic run after a mediocre regular season. This does not happen in the NBA, NFL, or college football. Not to this degree, anyway. March Madness is truly one of a kind.

This happens in the NHL pretty often because the league has strong parity. While I do like the March Madness Tournament, I will say it can be rough watching so many players miss shots they should be hitting if they were NBA caliber. People rave about defense but it is easier to guard most of these players at the same time.

@panyaplayha468 Oh I agree with the fact that from a basketball purists standpoint, the product is easily better in the NBA. I just don't care to watch it as much because they shoot a million threes a game now. The NBA is too positionless. Everyone on the court can shoot. At least in college, you still have old-school big guys that play back to the basket. Oh, and the parity is much better than the pros.
