Michigan Basketball's 'Frozen Four' - Kiser, Brown, Dilk, and Rauch. Four seniors score a combined 11 points in the biggest game of their lives. 1:01:50 three point game with 6 minutes to go and these four supposed senior leaders of the squad and their coach hand the point guard duties over to freshman shooting guard Laila Phelia, and expect her to "make" plays to win the game, while the Frozen Four and their coach look clueless. UCONN Coach Geno Auriemma at his press conference after beating Stanford in the Final Four said: " You really can't come to this tournament as a senior and expect someone else to win it for you. That's what you do when you are a freshman, sometimes...but you can't come to this tournament as a senior...and want it really bad, but not understand that THIS is what I have to do to win it." When UCONN's season was on the line, seniors Chrystian Williams, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, and Evina Westbrook all stepped up and played key roles in the victory over higher-ranked Stanford. When Michigan's season was on the line, Michigan's 'Frozen Four' ran and hid and their coach was complicit, turning the decision making and pressure over to freshman Phelia to get it done. Unfortunate for Phelia and Naz Hillmon, who deserved better trenchmates. Geno gets it. Michigan's Kim Barnes Arico is clueless.
